Smoking has a number of harmful effects on mind and body. There are hundreds and thousands of people around the globe that die because of the diseases that are caused by the smoking cigarettes. Tobacco smoke contributes to many different diseases including cancer. Cigarette contains mixture of tar, carbon monoxide and nicotine that has many fatal, devastating and contagious effects on the health. This tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide can cause stroke as it slows down the blood flow and cutting off the oxygen to the hands and feet.

There are a number of anecdotal evidences that suggest that smoking comes before mental illness in most of the people.
